The Importance of Dreaming and Sleeping Dreams and dreaming is an outstanding quality of our lives. Theyre a reliable sourceof insight, soulal enrichment, and life affirming revelations. Dreams be the languageof a persons subconscious mind. Before a person starts to dream, there be certaincycles or stages that a person goes done with(predicate) in their sleep. Sleeping is important to ourlives. Many people spend about twenty five eld sleeping and dreaming. thither are quatern-ninety minute stages of sleep that a person goes through a night. To begin withstage one. This is when breathing is regular, heart rate slows down, and demarcation pressuredecreases. A person could still be awake during this stage. Slowly the person drifts tostage two. During this stage, the person is unaware of what is going on in the impertinentsurroundings. As the person falls deeper into sleep, the person goes into stage threeand four. It is harder to wake person up when they reached th is stage. It takes aboutan hour for a person to go through all four stages. Yet, not everyone goes through all ofthese stages a night. Throughout the night, stages four and five repeated. REM (rapideye movement) takes designate when a person is at the deepest level of sleep. In REM,eyes move quickly under the eyelid. Dreaming takes place at this stage.
